RESERVATIONS
A reservation is considered valid upon receipt of a down payment of 50% of the total price of the accommodation.
After a reservation is confirmed, the balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to arrival.
For reservations not made far in advance, payment of the total price of the accommodation is required at least 60 days before the arrival date.
CANCELLATION POLICY
To 30 days prior to arrival: a charge of 50% of the total price of the accommodation will be applied.
From 30 days to 1 day prior to arrival: the total price of the accommodation will be charged.
No shows and early departures: the total price of the accommodation will be charged.

HOW TO GET TO POECYLIA
On the island of San Pietro you get by taking the ferry from the harbor of Calasetta fishermen, on the opposite island of San Antioco. Alternatively: Portovesme industrial embarkation.
The two ports are about an hour's drive from Cagliari. The shipping company Delcomar runs almost every hour, and also from Calasetta all night.
The Cagliari Elmas airport is connected with direct flights with the main Italian and European cities: direct flights Naples-Cagliari, Rome-Cagliari, Milan-Cagliari and from Zurich, Lugano, Frankfurt, Paris, London, Lisbon and many other European cities . The main airlines are Ryanair, Easyjet, Volotea, KLM, Alitalia, Airfrance, Lufthansa, Swiss, British Airways.

Because access to the house is a private road, reserved only for owners and guests, you are kindly requested to call in advance to arrange an appointment.

THE POECYLIA IS LOCATED IN THE HEART OF AN OASIS OF NATURE.
FAR FROM THE VILLAGE OF CARLOFORTE ABOUT 8 KM OF ASPHALT ROAD, NOT ILLUMINATED, AND 1.5 KM OF DIRT ROAD, NOT ILLUMINATED, THROUGH A DENSE VEGETATION MEDITERRANEAN
The Poecylia Resort is situated in the most uncontaminated area of the island of San Pietro, From the harbour of Carloforte, take Via Roma and Via Diaz and then follow the “Strada delle Saline”, which then branches off to the right, in the direction of Carloforte Oasis. After roughly 8 km, about a 15 minute drive, you will come across a large yellow stone on the left side of the roadway, with the word “Becco” on it. From here, take the dirt road leading to Poecylia. After about 1.5 km you will meet two white columns marking the boundary of the private property Poecylia is located on. Since the driveway is private, with access allowed only to the owners and guests, we ask that you phone to arrange a visit or appointment. Most of the roads on the island are left in the natural state by the Town of Carloforte, in order to avoid impacting the environment. It is thus preferable to come in a 4×4 vehicle, such as a Fiat Panda or another car suitable for this type of road. There might be difficulties with other vehicles. A car is indispensable. The roads on the island are unlit, including the one leading to Poecylia.
THE POECYLIA IS A DIGITAL DETOX AND TECH FREE RETREAT. IN THE WHOLE BEDROOM AREA, THERE IS NO FIELD FOR THE PHONES, THERE IS NO INTERNET, THERE IS NO WIFI, THERE IS NO TELEVISION. NO THERE IS NO TECHNOLOGICAL TOOL FOR COMMUNICATION OR ENTERTAINMENT.. IT IS NOT A SITE SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN AND FOR ADULTS, WHICH TO USE AND COMMUNICATE WITH SMARTPHONE AND TABLETS. BECAUSE IT IS NOT POSSIBLE, AS IT IS NO NETWORK. THERE IS NO INTERNET AND WIFI FOR A PRECISE CULTURAL CHOICE. ONLY IN SOME POINTS, IT IS NETWORK COVER, BUT IT IS NOT CONSTANT.
POECYLIA IS THE PLACE TO DO NOT CHOOSE FOR THOSE WHO CAN NOT RELY TO TECHNOLOGY AND MODERN HABITED COMFORTS.
MOST REASON FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE NEED TO BE ALWAYS "CONNECTED". POECYLIA IS A PLACE WHERE YOU ARE ALMOST ALWAYS DISCONNECTED.
THE POECYLIA IS A PLACE ABSOLUTELY UNMISSABLE, AND NOT SUITABLE FOR THOSE WHO ARE ALLERGIC, OR TO DAMNY, TO INSECTS OF EVERY KIND, LIKE: ANTS, MOSQUITOES,FLIES, BEES, WASPS, SCARABS, BUTTERFLIES, CRICKETS, FROGS, SPIDERS, SNAKES, BEETLES, LIZAARDS, FIREFLIES, DRAGONFLIES, GEKI, CATS, RABBITS, DOGS ... ETC ... ETC ... ETC ...
THE POECYLIA IS A PLACE NOT SUITABLE TO THOSE WHO ARE FEARING SILENCE, INSULATION AND DARK.
Poecylia is not a hotel that boasts about the technological facilities it offers. On the contrary, it has chosen precisely not to offer them. Poecylia is made up of three building units, all inside private grounds at the disposal of guests only. The bedrooms, as well as some of the common rooms, are in two buildings on the north side, a few hundred metres, or a few minutes’ walk, from the cliffs, sea and courtyard
where breakfast is served, on the south side. Poecylia is an ideal place for meditation and relaxation, for regenerating the mind and soul. It is not the place to choose if you cannot do without technology and the usual modern amenities. The bedrooms and interiors are simple. It was a deliberate choice not to endow them with any kind of stereotypical technological comfort, such as air conditioning, heating or artificial ventilation. All the facilities that characterize the majority of hotels and standard bed and breakfasts do not exist here. The air conditioning is natural. There are no wifi systems, satellite TVs with 3000 channels or minibars in the rooms. In each living area there is a fridge and a pod coffee machine at the disposal of guests who want an early morning coffee. Each bedroom overlooks a terrace, covered by a pergola of bouganvillea, adjoining the garden. From the bedroom interiors there is no view of the sea, which guests can admire, along with a panorama of the bay, from the private terrace of some rooms, from certain areas on the main terrace and many other vantage points.
